The Easy Group based in Portsmouth and Biddenden, Kent is delighted to announce the
winner of their iPad Draw at Kent 2020 to James Stewart, Projects Officer, Kent County
Council in Maidstone.
Simon Mewett Group Managing Director of the Easy Group said, ‘Kent 2020 was a great
success for the Easy Group. We are delighted for James, and although it was the first time we
exhibited at Kent 2020, it was extremely well organised and a great forum for local
businesses like ours to network. We hope that we will be doing business with many of the
people we met in the near future.’
Cristian Bunce, Account Manager for Easy Computers in Kent presents James with his brand
new iPad 2. James said, ‘I am thrilled to have won the iPad, it has really made my day.

Easy Mobiles says it is amongst the first to offer BlackBerry PlayBook to its customers
from £399
Portsmouth based dealer Easy Mobiles says it is one of the first partners in the UK to be able
to offer the BlackBerry PlayBook to its customers.
It is the first tablet that the dealer has chosen to stock.
The device that went on general sale in across the country from earlier this month will be
available for purchase from the dealer for £399.
The PlayBook runs on RIM’s all-new BlackBerry Tablet operating system and offers internet
access, gaming, multitasking and enterprise features.
It has a 7-inch high resolution display, mixing performance and portability and is powered by
a 1GHz dual-core processor.
The tablet also supports Adobe Flash 10.1 and has dual HD cameras for recording and video
conferencing.
Easy Mobiles director Jim Guest says there has already been “great” interest from a number
of business sectors regarding the device’s availability at the dealer.
“We are delighted to be able to offer the latest BlackBerry PlayBook to our portfolio of
mobile solutions, it’s an amazing device, secure and enables you to effortlessly access your
corporate data, emails and your calendar,” Guest says.

Portsmouth based unified comms dealer adds seven new staff to its ranks as part of
plans to expand
Portsmouth based unified communications provider Easy Group (Easy) has continued with its
recruitment drive by adding a further seven employees to its ranks.
Within the Easy Group Nicky Laidler has been appointed operations executive, Peter
Sloggett has been appointed operations manager and Kenneth Lowe has been appointed
finance executive.
Within Easy’s Easy Networks division Geoff Murray, Michael Newell and Stephen Smith
have all been appointed account managers, whilst George Light has been appointed sales
manager.
They join the eleven staff that joined the company in April.
The appointments bring the company’s head count to 35 and Easy managing director Simon
Mewett (pictured) says Easy plans to add even more staff by the end of the year.
‘We have a massive expansion plan to grow the business and we are still looking to recruit
more account managers, and a technical support person to join our existing team of 35,”
